No. I think the closest you'd get is a setup like the Incas where people worked collectively on rotation. So yeah I think Israel is a solid guess.
European culture is founded on exploitation of peasants, so that's going to feed through any European derived cultures.
We can over look the child sarifice and human sacrifice for the crops to be fruitful/sun to come up/bad year more sacrifice.
