The writer-director Brian Duffield tweeted: “I have seen this movie and it is excellent. It also tested in the high 90s repeatedly. It also had interested buyers. The people working at Warner Bros are anti-art and I hope multiple anvils drop on their heads.”
The decision follows the studio’s decision to pull the plug on the $90m Batgirl last year despite the film being in post-production.
The studio also cancelled the release of the $40m sequel Scoob! Holiday Haunt.

I love when big business buys up the little guys, chews them up, and then shits out a worse more expensive product. This is the same Warner bros that shelved a completed movie to get a tax break no? Back to tiz for me.
