  • Joking aside, P39 is the way. Few will notice, no-one will care. And it's a nice watch.

The last black tie event I went to was a long time ago, also an awards thing. The compere was Richard Osman and he opened with "I can always tell when it's a creative industry awards gig because none of you have any fucking respect for a black tie dress code". It was a fair cop.

  • Thoughts on the new Longines conquest. First one I have received and very impressed with it. Good price point as well.

  • I don't think even Tudor make a watch that looks as much like a Rolex as that.

  • May just be the angle , doesn’t in the flesh.

  • It is a hybrid, hands are very reminiscent of Seiko. I like them! I'd be game if they did 36mm but, luckily for me, the choice is 34 or 41 so far. Quite 'surprised' with the 1k price increase, nicer bracelet and dial but... price doubled!

  • The dial's different, but the case and bezel is very, very similar to the current Air-King.

  • Which is also a bit of an aesthetic trainwreck though.

  • Oh yeah, it's dreadful.

  • It's not remotely in my wheelhouse, but I think this new MB&F is brilliant.

  • Oh Jesus

  • This is nice. Utterly unworn, box and papers.

Tag is £340 but not sure when that was.

Online seems to be unavailable now, but I might be wrong.

Sadly I'm not allowed to keep it. £280?

  • Why though, bump it up a tad higher?

  • Not sure if the source of the validity but guess it's not hard to gather or verify but thought it was interesting

  • Timex Thursday

Forgot I had this and found it in a draw when I was looking for a strap

  • Surprise anyone else that Richard Mille is that high?

  • That's only a couple of thousand watches for them, isn't it? Their ultra-thin Ferrari watch is $1.9 million and they're making 150 of them. So that's over a quarter of a billion just for that one model (though I'm sure they're not delivering all of them in one year).

  • Pour one out for CB, the 42mm Legend diver is now 39mm.

  • Like a Ponzi scheme for elites.

  • This has been sitting in my basket all week.... I think it might scratch the integrated bracelet & Porsche Orfina itch

  • I do really dig it. But a bit unsure about the butterfly clasp with no micro-adjust and not even a half-link (as far as I can tell).

  • That’s the new classic ie non Hydroconquest.

  • My wife is in LA so could get it shipped to her hotel and save a few pounds too

  • Really difficult to photograph to get the best out of the depth of the dial , but this is fabulous.

  • Postie just dropped off this eBay bargain.

Desperately needs a service/clean and a less shit strap/bracelet but I've no complaints for a ton.

  • I thought they have one in every size, so I'm surprised it wasn't already.

Turns out it was only 36mm and 42mm... But 39mm is a nice addition.
