My best game ever was Dying Light. Also The Division. The Last of Us was good as well.

Been alternating between Ridge Racer Type 4 & Speed Freaks for the past week or two. Was a great time for games

Do you have everything set up and just need to turn things on...as it may just mean the game isn't giving you the pleasure hit to keep you going.

It's definitely about the early dopamine hit.

Also, I was driven to complete the first dying light cause 2 was coming out and I desperately wanted to complete it before it did.

Yup - The DLC is great and huge and I'm having a blast. Then again I've been playing since launch and having a blast so I'm not really objective. One of my favourite games of all time.

Downloaded F1 manager cos it's on gamepass, it's kinda shit, your choices seem to make no difference.

It will be your thing, try it. Brain crack is accurate.

OK, well there's an easy win if you liked The Last of Us, as the TLOU 2 is as good / better (and very similar)!

I hadn't seen Dying Light before - now I want to play it! I think you might enjoy Titanfall 2 - it's fast, parkour-ish combat and IMO is one of the best FPS campaigns ever. Love that game. It's also not very long and ridiculously cheap as was blanked on release. However, note that it's set in the future rather that a dismal decaying world where civilization has crumbled (which from your choices, seems to be your genre - maybe you should speak to someone about that :) )

Titanfall 2 is mint, forgot about that game.

Probably the single best use of time travel in a game.

Apocalypse shooter is definitely my thing 😂

As a side note, I was disappointed with DL2 - It went from quite realistic with DL1 to Cartoonish with DL2.

It’s a belter, although not my favourite level (I really like the house building one). I think Dishonoured 2 had a level with a similar conceit that I think actually takes it further as your actions influence future events?

Now I think about it Dishonoured 2 has loads of my fav levels ever - the Clockwork Mansion is amazing, and I love that you can basically skip a level by doing a logic problem.

Dishonored 2 was great but it did feel a bit of let down compared to D1, could have been because it wasn't so revolutionary.

Ah, I never played D1 so didn’t have any baggage going into D2! Sounds like another game to go on the ever-increasing ‘to play’ list.

@ChainBreaker not sure if you’re PlayStation or pc or Xbox but PlayStations Black Friday sale is up on Friday (for about 10 days) so I’m hoping for serious discounts on the games I’ve wish listed, hopefully god of war ragnarok, original Spider-Man, death stranding, and a couple of others. If I can get them for close to £20 or below I’ll be happy..
Maybe other games that fill that gaming hole for you discounted in there as well..

Also another thumbs up for titan fall 2 started it but never finished it, but brought the digital version for cheaps a couple of months ago so going to dip back into it.

Hoping Resi 4 remake is on the cheap, am keen to give it a whirl.

Started stray....loved the bit at the beginning with the four cats and then stopped as I felt bad for the lone cat....in a video game. Ffs tried to play twice and can't get over lonely kitty.

I couldn’t.

I enjoy hard platforming, but the lack of checkpoints put me off.

I managed to get to the absolutely last section (invisible badge) but it was just too hard and unfair having to repeat the previous 2 sections after last checkpoint all over again…

I’ve spent good 5 hours on it in total.
