I raised a support ticket and they’ve refunded.

Just to check before I commit to anything, is the GCN app offer mentioned on the previous page by amey is the best bet for race coverage etc? (And it works fine on MAC OS which is what i watch on.)

I must be doing this wrong, Eurosport.Co.uk is full of headlines and thus spoilers. Should I go somewhere else to log in to watch?
Also: the LBL highlights package starts after the main attack. Pretty shit?
I’m also finding it quite difficult to find the highlights packages after races. Is GCN better for
- no spoilers
- Easier to find highlights?
- no spoilers

Yes

there are no spoilers but they only do better highlights for (I think) grand tours. they do usually have something on youtube quite quickly though (probably the same film as Eurosport). tbh, I usually prefer to skip through the full film rather than the highlights although today I accidentally saw the result before anything else :(

GCN app is passable (if you skip the social feed especially). Advantage is that it’s so slow to load you can quickly skip to the GCN+ and “racing” sections before anything has actually loaded so minimal chance of seeing spoilers (at least to date!)

The other thing to consider is Discovery+, it works just like the old Eurosport player app rather than the Eurosport website.

There is a 'no-spoiler' button the website and app. So as as you only look at the 'watch/on-demand' pages, you won't see the results. Or at least that seems to be working for me.

What’s the best place to watch the Giro? I had Eurosport on Prime but since have changed account so all options are open.

GCN+? Used it to watch the classics for the first time and was pretty pleased. Also is the same stream as used for Eurosport, but no ads 👍

I like GCN+.
The app and website is a bit clunky when trying to find specific stages of a race you've missed a few days of but generally it does what I want. Once my contract is up, Tivo is going and GCN will be it and then I'll try and bin the TV lic. too because I am happy never watching live tv again.

Not sure if it is the best option but DMAX on terrestrial TV has highlights each evening by the looks of it.

Bookmark the on demand cycling page.
On the app, the only thing that worked for me was to set my favourite sport to tennis. No spoiler button did nothing

Got GCN yesterday to watch the Giro, which was sort of okay. It works on Apple TV, but for some bizarre reason the sound will only work with the HomePods linked in stereo to the Apple TV. With all the others dotted around my home, I can’t get them to play anything at all.

Reports that GCN+ service and app will be closing on 19th December :-(
EDIT: just seen full post in ProCycling thread.

Yeah, I just posted the email I received. Sucks. I liked GCN for pro racing.
What is the alternative service to use now (not Eurosport Player obvs)?

Discovery Plus has all the Eurosport content if you subscribe to the middle ‘standard’ level.

Yep that’s the one. But cheaper through a whole year if you do annual sub I think

Yeah, as was GCN I think. I did monthly just for the season because I have to much other junk to fill my eyeballs with.

Yes, my annual renewed for £40 in the last few days.
If one only watches a few months of cycling then I'm sure you can do the maths but I remember the cyclo-cross being quite ridiculous this time last year with WVA/MvDP/Piddcock.However I can't seem to find the annual option on the Eurosport/Disco website.
Appreciate the warning... have just cancelled my subscription which was due to renew on 1st April.
I only watched via Apple TV, so since I can no longer do that, there's zero point.
