@thanksbye exactly my thoughts. Think £340 posted was a good price on these tbf
What do you reckon i should do?
If you zoom in to pic 3 you can see the rim tape has been cut too and it werent removed with a tire lever as the buyer claims
Hello everyone
So recently ive sold a chris king iso hubs laced to wtb kom rims. The buyer received them and they are claiming the rim is cracked. The pictures look like its a scratch to me, dont think i should be accepting the refund request?
Strange fact is that the buyer removed the tubeless tape to refit a new one, there was no issiues with the existing one so to me it seems like he dont want them anymore and has marked them on purpose?
These rims have the original rim tape i fitted from new. The mark werent there when ive done it
... very odd place to "crack". Its only in the area pictured, no marks anywhere else
mark looks quite fresh to me, as if it was done a while ago it would of been more dull and not so shiny?
I have also asked how the tubeless tape has been removed, the buyers reply was " plastic tire lever". This seems like a task that would of taken ages as its a sticky tape... very wrong tool for the job
I have advised him to get an email from a bike shop to state if the rims are cracked or not, bike shop can easily write what he wants them to write so not sure what to do
Id like to hear the forums opinion on this, ebay tends to side with the buyer
