Even with an 80-odd seat majority the dearth of talent in the Tory party is so great they have to turn to a member of the lords lol.

He's not even in the lords is he? They'd have to appoint him to the lords if this is about getting him in the cabinet. I have no idea if there's a precedent for doing that
