Why is the Discogs iOS app search so utterly shit?
Not only do you have to be annoyingly precise with your search terms, and it presents you with a bizarre, seemingly random assortment of versions of releases as opposed to prioritising any sort of master or original release page, the absolute killer feature of doom is that:
Search
List of results
Click a result (often unintentional because it is so sensitive)
‘Oh no, not that one’
Click back
Returns to home page and NOT the list of search results!?
Rinse and repeat - and, oh yeah, you’ll need to retype that search term verbatim.
In what world of UX design is that desirable or logical? So, so frustrating and tedious.
