I've speedgoats among others. They're good, if the trail is pretty smooth. I wouldn't want to rock hop in them. Grip is pretty good, if rocks and dry. I use them for fire trails and well made hiking trail runs. I have aportiva Akasha too which have bigger lugs and might be better for all round/wet. (you're in Ireland right).
I'd go to a shop and try.
Any recommendations on trail shoes? Been running in ASICS novablast and metaspeed sky if that means anything? There are a few hiking trails near me and I just want something multi purpose trail to get off the road occasionally. Hoka speedgoat 5 comes up in many searches - anything else worth considering, ideally with a good Black Friday discount?
