Back looking into whisky casks, and I found the above.
Have queried regarding on-costs, pending response.

Tl;Dr: £3300 buys 1/15th of 10 casks, each year you receive 1/15th of the bottling (between 15 and 22 bottles, depending on the size of the barrel)

If it is just a one-off fee, I am very tempted, shit maths make it about £22 bottle, but that seems too cheap.
Also, I am unlikely to want 15 bottle of scotch each year, so would be looking to move some of these on to friends and family (read: you cunts) every year, or perhaps go in with 1 or 2 people to lighten the load.
Once I have some more info I am happy to share it on here if anyone else is interested (either going halfsies or just generally interested)

  • If it is just a one-off fee

Cask prices usually don't include duty/vat and bottling costs so you want to double check. As a rough guide whatever the cost in the barrel is it'll be at least double that in the bottle.

  • Yeah, I did a deep dive a few years back and found the £15 a bottle price soon becomes about £40 once duty, bottling, shipping, etc. comes into play.

I'll wait and see what they say.
