I would say approximately never. You eventually polish the interior so the rubbing is not that bad but they always stay a hard and heavy boot, it's more like wearing a piece of furniture.
This reminds me of aged 13 when I mistakenly thought hobnail boots would be a good idea as general wear boots. It was not a good idea at all
