How long before a pair of Trickers Stow boots become somewhat comfortable?!
I've worn them probably ten times now and I get hot spots and quite a lot of rubbing around the achilles (I get a bit of heel lift) and top of the foot under the lacing. I've experimented with different lacing patterns, having the laces tighter and looser, and different socks, to no avail.
I've seen people saying the socks made by Dr Martens help. Anyone tried these?
I would say approximately never. You eventually polish the interior so the rubbing is not
that bad but they always stay a hard and heavy boot, it's more like wearing a piece of furniture.
