Somewhat bewildered by their range, is there a particular compound you're referring to? The blue road ones seem on a par with Shimano in terms of price (£15-£20 a pair)

uberbike also seem to have restocked their finned road disc pads (went OOS for ages over covid). they come in two parts (the finned backplate is separate) so makes it cheaper when replacing the pad insert... think i'll be going back to them when i need pads next

They look good, thanks. Wonder if there's less actual compound since there needs to be space for two backing plates (one for the fins and one for the pad)?
