  • Thanks man. I'll get them shipped tomorrow hopefully 🤘

  • I think that actually ended up costing me £17 to ship and not £27. I'll check up on it tomorrow and reimburse you a tenner if that's the case

  • The interest in these bottle cages have been great. I am almost done with the second batch of cages and will be shipping a box to stayer today or tomorrow. They are going to be UK distributors and it looks like we can keep prices more or less the same as in the EU. Doing the math today. They will be available from their website and they will do UK shipping at around £3 I believe so should make things easier and cheaper than ordering directly from me. This ties into us doing more projects and products together soon. More on that later...
I have a also made a few of the Symmetric bottle cages and will be selling most of those through Stayer and rapidly make a new batch for the EU.

  • And final update in Huls Huls Land. My cargo bike is out of action for the time being. It has developed a crack in the platform construction and is deemed unsafe for transporting children. The cracked has been developing over time and is a result of poor craftsmanship and lack of reinforcement/bracing. But it was my first bike from scratch more than 10 years ago.

In the meantime The Boat Anchor is back in action for dad duties.
Besides the fact that I can't see my kids while riding, the Bob Ibex I am using is really great. I leave the trailer at daycare and get to the workshop much quicker now and with less knee pain at the end of the day.

The mudguards are a bit of a bodge job but they'll get me through winter. Somehow I decided eyelets e
Wasn't necessary when making this frameset. The rack is also temp as I am building it something sturdier with low rider pannier abilities...

I am also hoping to find time to construct a new cargo bike before summer. But I am constantly running out of time :)

  • I managed to make this Ergotec double flex kickstand (or whatever it is) work with the @Konga yoke. I have always resisted kickstands but this is actually quite nice and essential for loading the bike and trailer...

  • Great work and great news! Nice to see things going well.

  • those studio shots turned out really nice.
i'll be keeping an eye on the stayer website. will your bottles be available through them as well?

  • Yes. I am going to send them some as well

  • what kind of rear axle is that?

  • QR for a Croozer Bob Ibex/Yak.

  • Perfect bike!

  • your bikes always look so well proportioned... no matter if its a kids bike or a huge 29er

  • kick stands will be essential atb gear in future years, ahead of the curve

  • Everything about these is so good. They look like renders!

  • Agree. Wouldn't mind seeing the setup and colour correction.

  • Still haven't found time to watch this. Sorry. Will do tonight.

  • Is he literally brazing with a blow torch 🤯🤯

Videos like that make you realise if you are courageous enough... Its not that big and scary really!

Plus I imagine brazing things "on" is way easier than making a frameset

  • Watched it now. Great film. Totally same breed as me. Thanks for sharing

  • That is a brilliant 9 and a half minutes. Thank you
