To play devils advocate, MiUSA NBs last for so much longer than your average trainer. Like so much longer. But for a similar, cheaper vibe, 2002s are a good compromise.

This. They are a bit embarrassing, expensive and make you look like a dad designer.
But they still look ok when others decomposed long ago.
