  • To play devils advocate, MiUSA NBs last for so much longer than your average trainer. Like so much longer. But for a similar, cheaper vibe, 2002s are a good compromise.

  • This. They are a bit embarrassing, expensive and make you look like a dad designer.
    But they still look ok when others decomposed long ago.

    Maybe I'm cheap, but I just don't spend that much on clothes anymore. Definitely couldn't spend >£200 on a pair of trainers, having kids rules that out. I'm glad I bought all my leather shoes when I did and glad wfh and trainers to work means I won't have to resole them often.

    My NB 311 are 2yrs old now and still look decent on the outside. They're just getting a bit compressed and worn on the inside and stand out more than I'd like.
