  • My only experience is iron on images made using a Silhouette vinyl cutter. Cricut is another brand.

You can do multiple colours but it's a pain in the arse, as you cut each colour separately, and I found that the designs don't adhere for all that long.

  • So, don't do this

  • I was printing 1-2 a month, so way less than you. I also used an online vendor where you send the artwork to them and they print on to fruit of the loom t-shirts. I'll see if I can find them.

  • Thanks - though kind of want to do it myself so I can have a bit more control over how many and not have to worry about minimum orders etc.

Just want something that lasts more than one wash.

  • It is all about glycemic load, nower days.

Now in true tin foil hat hat time look up why, basically more understanding of how the body works.

This was pre biome understanding so maybe something else now.

  • It is free to change the address on a licence. Easy to do online, I got a new licence within a week when I did it.

If you want to change your name on a licence, it is also free, but you need to return your licence with supporting documents and a form available from a Post Office.

  • These lasted maybe 10 washes. If you find a decent solution report back.

  • Really don't know where to start without coming across as arguementative or a prick as in I know a allegedly know more than U bruv....from bitter experience and having access to private health care (London diabetic centre)

Your mate was told the last NHS short term money saving due to budgets. Long term ha1bcdrfthb tell you the square root of fuck all, especially if you are told it gives you a three month picture, it does not. At best six weeks...more like 4.

Those definitions of type 1 and type 2, as you are using the juvenile late onset definitions were out of date a decade ago. Last lecture I went to was 6...this old from abbot https://www.abbott.com/corpnewsroom/diabetes-care/the-5-groups-of-diabetes.html not getting to lada and mody but think they have been superceded.

As yes I have to be fucking special diabetic, absolute shit for but brilliant for medical studies. But I do have a full listing of my DNA, and my DNA is used in many case studies of DNA which I stopped wanting to know about.

Maybe better to chat, stopped going the NHS endocrinologists as I knew more than them (yeah I know, more they said stuff and I produced copies of pier reviewed research that disagreed with them)

Edit: have had a beer and I'm not happy, so not trying to come across as a know it all cuntybollocks as I knew a little and the more I read and talked to people using me as a guinea pig it amazed me how little we know about our own bodies.

  • Seems relevant, I listened to this earlier discussing is the zoe app junk science or worth doing and it includes a critique of wearing a blood glucose monitor for normal people based on latest studies

  • Not read but not sure how you get the info you need of how much insulin are you producing. Then any insulin resistance issues.

  • Not at all, it’s good to talk.
I wrote a long response, but basically.
Too much information early on in a diagnosis or pre-diagnosis can be counterproductive. Knowing your glucose levels at this second is pointless until you know why and what to do about it. Abbott would love everyone to have a meter.
Liz has been Group 1 (type1) from 15 (30+ years) and has a pump and a CGM hoping to get them connected soon (possibly, maybe fingers crossed) We don’t really keep up with definitions and just deal with getting on with living with it. Her Diabetes team have been fantastic, the dietitian less so TBF.
Sorry everybody this is the short version ;)

  • Would be interested in this online vendor if you still recall them?

  • What are the cheapest, not narrow, clincher rim brake, otp wheelset?

    Ie the modern shimano r500.

  • Quick reminder! My sister-in-law Louise is working on solutions to eliminate exposure to air pollution. She’d love to speak to some cyclists this afternoon as part of user research. It would involve a 20 minute call. Please can you message her if you’re interested on 07966 225049. Unfortunately this is not a paid opportunity but will be met with much gratitude!

  • Have you posted a thread in this section?

    Improving Public Spaces
    https://www.lfgss.com/microcosms/586/

  • Is there a thread about road tyres, as I'm looking at wtb thick slicks and are they shit.

  • I have a couple of unknown derailleur hangers of the same design, and access to a forge. Am I missing something in thinking it wouldn’t be too difficult to make a hanger I’d find useful by melting the hangers, and pouring a cast in a sand impression of another hanger? I’d have get clever with the bolt holes to ensure I have enough material to cut threads into, but other than that should be straightforward, non?

  • Am I missing something

You're missing a whole array of things, how many do you want?

  • My interest is nearly piqued, but I need to reduce my project list and your answer tells me it will be ‘one of those’ projects. So none, but thanks.

  • Nope, forging aluminium is not as simple as it sounds.

  • Is there a thread on here where people post funny / interesting / peculiar bikes they saw out in the wild?

  • That looks quite specific?

  • There has been some mention on here somewhere of some stuff that is good for getting rid of adhesive gunk. Something branded, not just generic alcohol/white spirit etc. I can't find it though, anyone any suggestions?
