    But there are loads of other things we do to animals, so I don't think it weighs meaningfully against doing something that gives so many people enjoyment and preserves our tradition of burning Catholics.

    I used to go to raves I woods. The organisers did them regularly. On reflection that must have scared the fucking shit out of local wildlife and disoriented them. I still wouldn't take it back.

  • That a goat has died? No I said it was sad. I think it's commendable that they rescue goats for a hobby.

    I eat meat, including goat. Not that often anymore admittedly but still - so there is a limit as to how exercised I can get.

    Fireworks are in no way analogous to fox hunting and about as closely correlated to public lynchings as to bum sex*.

    *should that be hyphenated?
