I received and put up my Bluum store this week. Very pleased with it! It’s small, but perfect for shielding my wife’s bike from the rain, and has room for at least one more. The child seat has to come off, but the store would have been too tall if I’d spec’d it to fit.

I want to hang three road bikes in this space. I’m thinking it will be good if they’re able to be angled out from the wall (~90 degrees) rather than perpendicular to the wall as being on the angle will reduce the overall height they stick out from the wall and hopefully avoid boffing anyone walking through in the face. What is the best angled bracket out there that would hold the bike vertically by one wheel? I like the idea that it could be adjustable on the angle but I could also build up an angled packer to go between the wall and a regular fixed bracket

I’ve got maybe 8 delta dalis doing good hook duty in my garage, only pivot one way though.

Is there such a thing as a super basic bike shelter? Like the living roofed thing above but 2% of the cost and effort. I don't need or want it to be fully enclosed like in a shed, I just want something to keep the rain off 2 bikes in my back garden, up against the house wall. So like a sloped rectangle of perspex with a leg at each corner?
Aware that a thing like that could be DIYed, but I'd rather buy off the peg

Hi - I need to get rid of a 4 bike Asgard Access green metal pent shed in next couple of weeks due to building work starting in rear garden, wanted to flag it here in case any local interest (in W7 West Ealing area), will make a video of it before dismantling to show all parts present and functioning and in good condition (and will confirm all parts / fixings present and survive the dismantling). Would be looking for £100 and for it to be collected. Can provide all details of panel dimensions etc for transport planning and assembly instructions pdf downloaded from Asgard website. Will post in classified once I get my photos done etc, but in the meantime please let me know if any interest, thanks!

It's OK. I've managed to donk my head on many a handlebar though. I think i have to face up to the fact that I've got too many bikes and wheels etc etc.
you're welcome to have a look if you are anywhere near

Do any south based people have one of the large Asgards with the 1600mm door aperture I could test?
-
• #1969
Either of these two. Same foot print, different height.

If yours is https://www.asgardsss.co.uk/bike-storage-x4 then I think the one I am looking at is longer and has a wider door.

Yeah correct that's the one I have so the other ones might work

Quick one for any Asgard owners from a potential one: do they keep out the damp/condensation in the winter? I'm interested in them but live in north-east Scotland and having put up with a clammy shed (no euph) before I'd hate to have the same issue if I took the plunge on one!

I've heard that it is an issue. Although my current solution is a tarp so I imagine it will be an improvement for me. If you get one of the e-bike ready ones and can get power to it, you can run a low wattage tube heater which apparently helps.

Would the type of rotary ventilation things you see on the roof of work vans help?
-
• #1975
Not had a problem with my Annexe - the roof has an integral ventilation system hidden in the roof eves, allowing air to freely flow inside, even when fully locked up, helping to keep moisture to a minimum.
Another tip is to line the base with old cardboard boxes - great for absorbing drips from wet bikes - might even help with moisture... but mines been fine so far.
Kids bike rack going up..
