MSTeams avatars and Maybelline filters have made the last two weeks at work extra productive. Shout out to Daz in IT for not blocking these awesome features.

Businesses that act like they're little fucking cherubs for paying 'London living wage'.
National minimum wage should be £15. London should be £18. Share your P&L sheets I don't care. -

We've had to send a notice to people that it's either camera on or camera off (backdrop optional), nobody needs bandwidth being used on 10 people using backdrops and avatars.

All you've done there is remind me how much I want to go back to Bubala. Best Baba Ganoush I've ever eaten.

One of my neighbours rescues goats. One of the goats was so panicked by the fireworks last night it died of a heart attack .
But Daily Mail reader “won’t somebody think about the children?”

Good for them. I'm not going to argue that it's not a sad story.
But there are loads of other things we do to animals, so I don't think it weighs meaningfully against doing something that gives so many people enjoyment and preserves our tradition of burning Catholics.
I used to go to raves I woods. The organisers did them regularly. On reflection that must have scared the fucking shit out of local wildlife and disoriented them. I still wouldn't take it back.

That’s your response? It’s tradition and people enjoy it, like fox hunting, public lynchings etc etc?

Shops that insist in taking someones email address to send them a receipt.
Had to wait about 15 minutes just now while someone tediously spelt out their email, so they could get the receipt for a fivers worth of strawberry lube.

How’d you get my work email?
+1 have gone back to the old Teams which is now Teams Classic which sounds like a brand of cigarette that would sponsor a powerboat.
