I started doing this - albeit in a much more round-the-houses way. In the end I realised that I could find a lot of the stuff I wanted to rip on Spotify, and you can download playlists via various web apps. I’m sure the sound quality leaves a lot to be desired, but for messing around with, it serves a purpose.

I went ddj200 > denon prime go > xdj700 + djm 450.
I’ve ripped a few records I couldn’t find anywhere, but you’ll be surprised how much is out there on beatport and bandcamp etc. was actually just preparing a load of tracks last night for the first time in a long while.

I'm considering purchasing a ddj rev1 for messing around with.
I know @J0nathan you had a ddj200 for a while, but can't remember what your current set up is?
I was considering recording some of my old vinyl onto my pc with audacity and then mixing the mps's on the ddj... or is that a silly idea?
