  • Finally found a way to mount a front light while there is only a eyelet on the back of the fork.

Bought a mount for an urban arrow cargo bike for €5 at a LBS and bent the mount a bit using a vice. Was easier than expected as the curvature was already close. I did add one knuckle to the mount in order to create some offset from the mud guard for the light.

  • Nice work. Is the mudguard rolled further forward because of mounting onto the light bracket ahead of the fork crown? Or does it just have loads of coverage?

  • @jackbepablo Yes, rolled it a bit forward as I did not wanted to drill additional holes in it. Only a couple of cm’s (about 3 to 4 cm) as the mount for the mud guard used to be hidden underneath the fork crown.
It still has sufficient coverage though, it was perhaps a bit too low before this modification.

@WhitleyJay Thanks! So far so good on tarmac. Haven’t ridden on gravel yet.
