Are you on pc? I've had a bunch of bugs with missions not triggering, but managed to force progression with console commands. You need to find the mission Id by
- SQT
- Help <(string for relevant quest> -this gives the quest id.
- Showquestobjectives (questid>
- Setobjectivecompleted <(questid><(objective number><1>
- Setobjectivedisplayed <(questid><(objective number><1>
I had major problems with the constellation line near the end.

Finished Starfield. Just short of 100hrs and level 51.
Am left feeling pretty underwhelmed by the whole experience.

I’m about 25 hours in, not done the main quest line, which is usually the best way to play Bethesda games, but I’m feeling equally underwhelmed. It’s quite bitty, and lacks a proper sense of exploration I think.
Is the main quest line any good?

The other faction ones are better IMO, and the game wipe of NG+ makes crafting and farming materials pretty pointless.

I've paused starfield, got to a point that I wasn't really enjoying it anymore.
Alan wake 2 though... I've only done the first chapter but wow. Looks incredible on the Series X. Spent ages just walking around the starting areas.
I don't like horror things really, so not sure how I feel after the end of the opening.... Gonna persevere though as I love Remedy games.
Gotta say the font and the way the name of the game appears at the start is incredible. Real sucker for fonts and impact. The chapter intro and little sounds / text as you enter an area too. Really really good. Control absolutely nailed that aspect too.

Anyone here got any experience with the slew of Android powered emulation devices on the market?
Considering picking up a Anbernic RG405M, mainly for PS1/Dreamcast use

Also started playing Alan Wake 2, enjoying it so far but haven't got very far.
I've gone the Geforce Now route as my PC wouldn't cope and I think I'll play Cyberpunk after which will also benefit from all the fancy RTX gubbins. Cool service, seems to work really well and even though £17.99 a month for the 4080 tier is pretty pricey that's a lot of months before you'd have paid off a 40XX card.

I use geforce now when traveling. Def. impressive for the value. It can be tricky in games like fortnite due to extra latency but you get used to it

I'm about 10 hours in now (I've been playing slow, exploring and wandering a lot) and despite it being right on the limit of my horror enjoyment (the hotel chapter shit me right up - YMMV) it's a masterpiece so far imo.
One chapter, no spoilers, was just absolutely bonkers.
Really rate Remedy and their creativity. Lots of nods to Control which I'm particularly enjoying as I though that game was fantastic too.

It was an ordeal to get my money back on that Retroid Pocket 3+, but eventually Paypal came through. Annoyingly because of the buggy AliEx app, it still shows as 'awaiting delivery' on my orders page.
Anyway, just received an RGB30 today which is the dog's danglies. Nowhere near the power of the RP3+ or similar devices, but that square screen is lush. That, and JELOS.
Anyway, so it will just about play Ikaruga and Crazy Taxi so I'm happy. Will try JSR when I can be bothered.
Metal Slug looks great even with letterboxing.
With that said, I'm tempted to sell my RG35XX, since I'm not sure I need to keep both.

Nice! In the meantime I've installed OpenEmu on the laptop and dug out the Vita for some Ridge Racer Type 4 goodness (and will soon be doing the same for PSP + OutRun 2006!)
Though at this point I'm considering just sticking with the laptop as it's more convenient than another handheld (PSP, Vita, Switch & GameShell all kicking around here)

Ah man I loved Outrun 2/C2C on original Xbox. Was a very close arcade port once you used a wheel

Alan Wake: The Musical might be the most incredible thing I've ever seen in a video game.

Agree with previous sentiment it's more scare / jumpy than I'd usually tolerate but, Alan Wake 2 is awesome - so worth being out of my comfort zone.
It's a great amalgamation of Twin Peaks and L.A. Noire and a million other things, feels like a total bargain at £40 when you look around what folk pay for some games cough diablo 4

When's kcd2 coming out, that's what i want to know. Tempted to do another run of 1, min-maxing marigold picking.

I'm just over 30 hours in now, and on the last section.
It's been such a fantastic experience I don't think I can bring myself back to starfield etc.
Might play through Control again after.
