I only really started noticing this post-pandemic

I don't get invited to any.

Maybe if you’d put some effort into your costumes…

Teams update. I don't need an icon telling me it's New!
Fuck off MS.
-
• #23706
You mean you've not created your avatar yet?!
-
• #23707
Didn't know that was a thing. I do have an image set. This is the taskbar icon that would normally show a status colour or new messages thing.
-
• #23708
Ha! Same.
Also why do I still have the old Teams?

Fireworks.
In a domestic setting. They're boring, expensive, noisy, and dangerous.
People who are impressed by them are basic af. -

+1
And they scare the shit out of pets and wild animals.
I honestly think they should be banned from public use, with the exception of a few licenced events.

Joyless fucks complaining about fireworks as soon as dawali comes around.
They're fun, beautiful and kids love them.

There's already an update. I wonder what they broke?

I'd agree and I love setting fire to shit :D.
Most of the fireworks are shit that people buy from corner stores. Just don't.
Go to a proper display.

Reminds me, I got given a bunch of (probably shit) fireworks last year and still haven't done anything to get rid of them.
A quick google suggests I can submerge them in water for 48h and then bung them in the usual household rubbish.

• #23716
set fire to them

People who walk into pubs or restaurants, and leave the door open.
Grew up in barns, the self-absorbed cunts.

with the exception of a few licenced events.
'cause animals aren't scared when there is paperwork

God, yes.
Was at my local Indian restaurant a little while back and had to put up with this. The weather had just turned nasty too so it was very obvious. Most of the culprits were taking meals out to customers too. They are effectively staff and still do it. Maddening! -

We were at Bubala last night; anyone familiar will know the entrance area is cramped. So as guests were being checked in, I totally get it that it's a bit tight back there between the hello-podium and the door, but I felt like shouting "just fucking squeeze in and shut the door behind you, you soppy cunt - you might notice that us lot sat down are no longer in our top coats".
In less physically awkward situations - i.e. when I'm not going to bump in to a waiter/waitress - I love to get up and shut the door in a passive aggressive manner.

I'll make sure to leave the door open in future then.

Weird flex

• #23724
just giving you the opportunity to do the things you love, i believe was the joke
-
• #23725
Yep.
@Ben689908 I'm in full agreement of hatred for people leaving the door open.
Just because you've not been invited to the good parties... :P
