  • Cork floor has arrived. One more step closer to LFGSS bingo. Now how the hell do I lay this stuff? It’s glue down, floors chipboard, I have the glue and gubbins, but a bit unsure of where to start and pattern.

    Tempted to go far left corner as I know it’s square and any cuts will be hidden under the desk on the right.

  • I always thought the correct way to laying a floor such as tile is to start in the middle and work outwards. So you find the centre line, place a tile on the centre line and go from there. That way at the edges you have the same width cuts etc.

    But I’m not sure if that is legit it’s just how I have done it.

  • Yeah I’ve heard that two but I think that will be tougher to do, and this is my first go at this.
    I’m trying to aim for simplest method to reduce errors. The section around the door is going to be hell.
