  • Nice. I just have a small liebherr wine storage fridge. My M&D have a couple of eurocaves that must be 30+ years old. I always have a nose on eBay, but they all seem to be miles from me unfortunately.

  • This one was on FB marketplace though there was one in Fareham at the same time for £20 more. So further away from me even if it was 10 years younger.

Really need more wine to fill it with. Any recommendations for reasonable wines to settle down for 5-10 years? Tempted to look Chilean and maybe look for Bordeaux at a reasonable price

  • I do most of my wine buying now at the Wine Society, there are a nice mix of wines available and always something new added daily. They have a good online community which is very helpful. Pricing is pretty fair and you get chance to bag sought after wines, although normally restricted to singles unless favoured by their algorithm. I have quite a mix of stuff, some at home/M&Ds and in bond, but mainly. France (Bordeaux, Rhone & Burgundy) Spain (Rioja, Ribera del Duero), Italy (Barolo), NZ, Aus & USA wines (Ridge Zins)

Bordeaux is a good place to start though!

    Probably should >>> Wine thread
