  • If you're looking at 24" tyres, I recommend the benno stock ones. Basically moped tyres. Done 6k km with barely any wear and no punctures.

    Sold a bunch of them. in 3 years I think I've heard of 4 punctures in that time over my entire sales base. Its a scooter/motorbike tyre, so not sexy, but thick carcase and tough sidewalls. A bit lumpy/noisy compared to something like a Schwalbe pickup or GT365, but on a cargo, lack of punctures and faff is absolutely the way to go, especially with kiddo's involved.

    24" does suck for other choices though. Could be worse I think Rad went with 18 or 22"? Some totally non bicycle size. Their replacement tyres for the original fit ones (that were apparently bad, though never saw any that would raise my eyebrows, it was the crappy rubber rim strips that were the issue IME) were decent.
