Unsure whether I want to part
Why would you?

Very cool bike...
Agreed, lovely build. Might be worth popping a price on it for context.

Sell all parts and keep the frame. Such fun frames to build up and also perfect if you ever decide to cycle around the world:)

I've got a german touring frame with similar geo and discs - and it's probably the only bike I own, that I don't think I could part with.
I've had it built up in a lot of different ways. From Drops, knobbies and no guards to swept back dad bike. Currently it's a singlespeed 42mm tyre winter road bike.
Maybe try a different build if you've fallen out of interest with the current one? -

Thanks guys
Yeah I have a drop bar set up in the garage, took ages to find a microshift M10 that works with the SLX shadow derailleur.I might just take it to Estonia and have it as holiday bike

Hey guys, looking for some wheel thoughts.
Does anyone have experience running 650bs on a steamroller? Always liked the idea but hadn’t realised getting my hands on a 650b fixed wheel set wasn’t just a case of buying online. Is it worth the faf of getting a set of wheels built up or would it be better to stick to 700c and max out the tyre clearance? Cheers! -

I have briefly considered doing it, but decided against it. The main benefit of 650b on a steamroller is that it’s possible and looks sick and ‘oh wait you got 650b on steamroller that’s sick bro!’ Which is all good reasons, but that’s it for me. What stops me from doing long distance gravel riding is not the tyre width but the lack of gears, ultimately. Also it’s easier to sell 700c ss/gf wheelset than 650b wheelset. But if you commited to the idea by all means do it, would love to see it here!

I have a fixed 650b wheelset up for grabs and cheap. Oddity rear hub, deore disc front hub. Rims i can't remember but wide clincher ones. I used it on a pompino.

Anyone know when 2024 frames will be in stock? Most Surlys seem out of stock most places.
Alternatively, anyone selling a Bridge Club, Disc Trucker, Troll, Karate Monkey etc in Large, let me know!

Surly bikes UK has just posted pictures of large delivery of frame boxes, so it looks like some stuff will be available soon.

Ooh good info, thanks

I’m not a regular poster here anymore so a dedicated Current Projects thread seemed a bit indulgent, but here’s my recently completed Straggler. A lot of thought went into this. Yes, it’s heavy!

Very nice
What tyres do you have?

Cheers. They're Bruce Gordon Rock 'n' Roads. Made by Panaracer. I've yet to take it offroad though as you can probably see...

Panda! Yes, I agonised over the mix of silver and black. Basically everything that connects to the frame is silver.

That's a nice paradigm for component selection.
My own take/resoning is trying to add contrast between mating components where the meet, but I have yet to manage it on any build due to budget/time/fit constraints.
Any interest in 54cm 26” LHT ?
Unsure whether I want to part as it was my first ‘decent’ bike and I’ve had it for 6.5 years.
Can give full spec or just frameset
Edit: new page 😤
