Wrong wheels are being driven.
The right wheels are being driven. The other 2 just happen to also be driven...
This runs F70/R30 unless you turn off ESC then it's 50/50.

I wouldn't be too concerned, but be prepared to fix previous owners lack of maintenance. Could be a series of worn bushings, and diff/gearbox mounts.
Are all the tyres the same? Also, when was the last time the all wheel drive system was serviced?

Well, to my opinion you are wrong...;)
Prefer the rear drive, with passive steer to front wheel drive Volvo's. And of the time the fords were better than the Volvo at a guess ford had sorted front wheel drive ages before ford. Found the MK3 Mondeo and X type better that the equivalent Volvo. Then X type over Ford.
