@hoefla: Being a Tory, particularly a right wing one, is a sure sign of being a noxious pile of evil self-serving shit. Having a brown skin and being female are not mitigating factors.

In no way suggesting any mitigation. My initial thought was that one might not have predicted it say 40 years ago, but given Thatcher was already showing how she could beat the boys at their own (evil) game, perhaps it's not that surprising.
