+1 for not really bothering with waterproofing. I got absolutely drenched on a 13 mile long run yesterday but, y'know, once you're wet, you're wet. But it wasn't too cold so that was ok. If it's cold and wet I might go for a wind-resistant/vaguely water-repelling top layer.
