Brilliant. Bought.
When I searched a while back everything seemed to be £100 upwards.

New page fail. Missed this.
It looks neat, I wonder which lasts longer.

Is anyone drinking any great wine at the moment?
I was drinking a great Grenache from auz the other night (Massena stonegarden Grenache)
It came from 100 year old vines previously used in making fortified wines and it was amazing. Weirdly it had biscuit and raisin type flavours even though the wine hadn't been fortified itself.

Just had an absolutely incredible Chateau Musar 2001 last night that rocked my and Mrs Punktures world's. Had it sitting there for a few years and it really delivered. Would recommend decanting and giving it a good hour or two as it really opened up beautifully

This was also an excellent easy drinker bought for about €8 in France and worth at least double that

Classic first post in this thread… having a clear out of my parents garage and came across these which although stored in a rack in the dark (but room temp) have not been thought about for a good 30 years. Vivino says top 1% but I think probably vinegar… can they be tested or tossed in the skip along with all the other crap?

I imagine it's drinkable but the dunn vineyards is deffo worth a few quid!

In current condition?
I'm not sure that many people would take a big £ punt with it being in a garage for the last 30 years...

Vivino ballparked the ‘74 Heitz at £4K so I’d rather not take a punt in case I could even get £20o for it! There’s some weird bits of paper stuffed in there too from who ever it was that sent it.
@Tenderloin I might be tempted to open the Dunn if all else fails, forum tramp beer meet up in Vicky park? Pretty sure I can open it with that shoe heel technique…

Doubt there's any money in them without storage and custody provenance as too many bottles have been refilled.
I'd just open and drink

Then sell the empty bottles on eBay for the con men to refill
(Don’t do this)

looking to buy some champagne for my wife's birthday dinner. Need probably 3 bottles minimum as we're entertaining a group.
Recommendations? Probably don't want to spend more than £25 a bottle. I know that's not much in champagne world...

Definitely go English sparkling over champagne. Hattingley is lovely.

At just under £25 (LFGSS gets trade prices), you can get our Pole Position Brut Champagne, it's a non vintage made out of Meunier grapes only.
We were awarded a Decanter 2023 Silver Award and the tasting notes were as follows:
Pretty perfumed floral nuances on the nose, with aromas of red apple and cherry. Persistent mousse on the palate.Weblink here with more information:
https://lasseaux.com/en/product/pole-position-brut/Although I am now in Folkestone, I still come to London Bridge twice a week so can deliver in person - or post the bottles but that's £6 for up to a case of 6 bottles within the M25 & £12 outside the M25

Still slightly convoluted.
Best way for the UK is to email or Whatsapp me for the trade prices & delivery options (either in person or using a courier) then I will send an online invoice (all cards accepted).
Or you could order straight from the website (free shipping for 12 bottles).
