still looking for a big v1, but seems impossible

  • Crying out for some custom 'BROOKLEIN' stickers! 😉

  • Ahh shit, why did I not think of that.

  • That's a lovely paint job.

  • if you are looking for a large/long/50cm version for a fair price it is nearly impossible. i am already trying it for +2years

  • aye for sure, i want to by a V4 and get it modded into a road bike but i have so many other projects to finish first.

  • Brooklyn DH bikes have some right hipster tax on them.

  • all bmw prices are going crazy nowadays

  • King Kog will have V4s in the Spring of 2024

  • The V4 gangstas seem to be the only ones that aint. Every DH model is jokes

  • seeing it with 20 years distance it looks like shit.

  • Oh, it's just that one model, the cool ones are the other ones.

  • The guys buzzing glue with the money for a SR8 even tho they are prob rarer than the best one.

1st one you've posted is my fav, the race link.

  • because they are the first ones being made by wbase

  • Cheese and crackers they're making big money... they do look beastly but those head tube angles are so steep by modern standards that they really aren't that appealing...

Blasphemy// I'd probably just get a Marino built to same specs with a slacker geometry ?

  • I don't think people ride these anymore, it's just a collector's item

  • Yeah and if they are rode its once in a blue moon. There's one guy on that facebook group that's got about 50 brooklyns.

  • Wow,this thread never dies.I had a thing about Brooklyn machine works when I was in my twenties. It was THE bike company that really was above the others.I had many bikes in my life, never owned a Brooklyn though. At the age of54 I'm still addicted to cycling and would still love a gangsta track set up with drops for the road and cyclocross.Maybe one day when I can afford it!

  • I have an endless lifetime,it's the only one in the u.k .Very similar to the park bike ,maybe a little more niche if that's the right word.24 inch rear,26 inch front.Incredible bike.I got it imported from North carolina when I was about thirty years old.on its third respray now, looking used but I like it like that.Stainless headbage, gloss black.

  • Still using it a lot aswell,dislocated shoulder,broken collarbone ,off work at the moment,not a almost at 20 mph.F......it hurt !!!!!

  • Sorry ,hit a lampost!!!,ouch

  • he is a german guy and his stable is mindblowing. one day he will probably open a museum!?

he has also all gangsta track versions

  • Can you share a link or some pictures of his collection??
