Ohhhhh they sound interesting! I gave up chasing cladding options (or any options) as dealing with my first builder (AGL lofts) was painful.
Let us know how your cladding goes, sounds like what l originally wanted!

The slates are from SVK in Belgium; had to be imported as there isn't a market for raw unpainted finish in the UK.
We're doing everything under PD, so can't go too off-piste, but the existing roof covering was made of nasty faded concrete tiles, so the new cladding is kinda a nod to both these and original Victorian slate.

We’re actually using unpainted raw finish cement fibre ‘slates’ imported from Belgium… for the look. And they turned out cheaper than decent quality real slate too…
