Would appreciate confirmation: have I been lucky, or does a modern 11sp Record groupset only shift properly and not make noise with a Campag chain?
Sold a waxed SRAM 1190 chain, told customer it would need a couple kms of final bedding in because it was a short notice order. A month later they’re saying that the shop that installed the chain says it’s making noise and not shifting properly because it’s the wrong chain, and only Campag chains work.
I’ve asked for a video call to witness noise issue, and am waiting for a reply. Do I owe this person a chain or is the other shop misinformed?
