1. They look like Ti
   
2. They came on a Ti bike
   
3. They’re not magnetic

The bog standard stays on my Brompton aren't magnetic either.

A dremel grinding wheel. Choose an inconsequential and inconspicuous part, and if it throws a stream of bright white sparks, it’s Ti.

Ti is fuller than the steel, and super easy to bend

The standard rear light on a rack-less Brompton - is it still a rack fitting? Thinking of replacing mine with a rechargeable light like this Knog thing

They're currently selling rear lights that they claim will fit bikes with or without the rack, so presumably it's still the same.

New colours are meh. Then we blue needs silver components to lighten it.

When I looked at that at first I didn't see the rear wheel folded under and thought it was a Brompton/Kiddy trailer hybrid with the trailer grafted on in place of the rear wheel.

sounds like a good challenge for you :)

@M_V any non-trailer solutions to transport 1kid in 1Brompton that are compact and allow folding would be truly appreciated

Brompton explorer electric is 17.4kg in 6Spd
Brompton urban electric is 20kg in 4spd

Is this right? Why is the 4spd so much heavier?

Could it be a mistake? The information below is also in their website, would make sense that the 4 speed is 16.6kg as it is a single shifter with 4 cogs rather than 2cogs, 1 internal hub and 2 shifter
