I just had to move a bird feeder pole. It’s in a muddy bird shit covered location so had to change clothes, take the bird feeders off the pole and yank it out of the ground.
When it was previously installed one person held a bit of wood on top of the post to stop the soft metal deforming. while the other used a sledge hammer to whack it in place. Of course without the second pair of hands the top of the post distorted, flared out and the feeder hangers couldn’t fit back on. So needed to dig out the angle grinder to remove the top of the post.
