Put something straight against the end of the bar and make sure it’s vertical, and then make sure there’s a nice comfy concave curve at the top of the hoods. If in doubt go a bit higher.

Cheer up Fairlight. It's not all bad, you've got lovely paint and other things going for you

Man, there's a lot going on there. The rotors are, in a weird way, especially offensive.

I saw that and immediately thought of this thread but there was a reason behind it. I’m not sure I agree but he is way more qualified on the matter than us.

He probably doesn't use the drops

I get that, but the hoods though will be at an extreme angle when going up hill?

I have talked to the guys of Temple when I was at Kolektif and asked why they do it like this. They told me they do it like this to give like an ergonomic middle ground. still thinks its BS

Probably same reason to have a layback post with your saddle slammed forward.

Temple doesn’t ride in the drops. Bring back bullhorns

I'm baffled by it. Aesthetically its not great but functionally it must be uncomfortable in the drops at that angle.

are hill climb bikes not exempt from this thread?

Although I did post the Feather bike in that Bikeradar screenshot above, deliberately functional hill-climb set-ups, that really should have the drops chopped off entirely, don’t count.
It’s the thoughtless crimes of BDHU that really rattle my cage.
quite a bit; accordingly
