I've kind of bought into the pedestrian-ness of it, I've stopped expecting everything to be a laser battle and quite enjoying persuading people and getting stuff done.
However, I'm starting to encounter the odd bug which is making me nervous.
I remember playing Skyrim and close to completion there being a bug that made a door that you had to get past unopenable - I'm sure they addressed it, but I never started the game again after encountering it.I've had a couple of mission bugs recently that required you to kill someone but it not registering that the person is dead so you couldn't continue the mission. Others have happened that required restarts to get the mission pointer to update. I'm half expecting the game to brick itself again.

Are you on pc? I've had a bunch of bugs with missions not triggering, but managed to force progression with console commands. You need to find the mission Id by
- SQT
- Help <(string for relevant quest> -this gives the quest id.
- Showquestobjectives (questid>
- Setobjectivecompleted <(questid><(objective number><1>
- Setobjectivedisplayed <(questid><(objective number><1>
I had major problems with the constellation line near the end.

I’m generally enjoying starfield but I’m finding the somewhat pedestrian side quests a bit too ‘fantasy with a sci-fi skin’.
Needs more space and more clothing options.
Also kind of funny how detailed the environments are which are then populated by dead-faced mannequins stumbling around.
