You get prison time, I believe. Should call the police and not get involved.

That's another issue, you challenge one of them and they hit there head even thought they are swinging at you with a hammer and your probs up for manslaughter.
I think if they had went for the leader there, the other 2 would have crumbled.

Wonder what the legal standpoint is if you get involved and serious injure one of the kids. I've been involved with a few situations like this where they actually want to talk their way out of it once they feel properly threatened.
If you stabbed one for threatening you with a hammer and it's all on film I don't think you'd get away with it would you?
