I've never had anything cerakoted and wanted to see what all the fuss was was about. First impressions are good and doesn't appear to effect thread engagement, which I was sceptical of. Will provide pics soon.
Sounds like you've got your hands full, to be fair all your projects are pretty epic. Although very different bikes, imagine the 900ss is quite similar in terms of the smiles per miles to the SRAD.

That's brilliant, £38 for shocks. Please tell me these are brand new prices. Still secretly wish I bought a super cub. Would be the only vehicle I could afford new, and probably last the longest too.

Not only are they brand new they’re cg125 shocks which are supposedly a decent upgrade. Rode it home for the first time in ages this week and it was like a pogo stick. May even splash out on new rubber!!!

C70, as I couldn't afford a c90 ;)
-
• #24358
I'd like one if I didn't have to wear a helmet.

Gets a bit chilly at 40mph, I just wear an open face on it.

Are they any good on light off road? Any good being better than a c90.

Nice the go to performance choice in the classic MX world. If you have the pockets deep enough that is. Which I do not ha. I ride with people who have suspension worth more than my bikes.

Ive rode it on fire roads and up to the base of ben nevis one night to shoot photos, so fine for that.

Wonder what the legal standpoint is if you get involved and serious injure one of the kids. I've been involved with a few situations like this where they actually want to talk their way out of it once they feel properly threatened.
If you stabbed one for threatening you with a hammer and it's all on film I don't think you'd get away with it would you?

• #24369
Definitely not, it’s an open street, you’re not trapped and can easily walk away. Also there’s loads of rules around possession of knives and legitimate purpose, self defence is not one.
-
• #24370
Thanks for the clarification. I do know that deep down and sometimes I carry a knife in a sheath on my leg for work purposes so I sometimes need to remind myself never to brandish it in a street fight.
How though do these idiots get to do this and not get a kicking.

• #24371
You'd be better carrying a brick, than a knife.
-
• #24372
You get prison time, I believe. Should call the police and not get involved.
-
• #24373
Well you've read my carrying multiple knives story.
-
• #24374
This shit has happened for years, no one does anything. Someone else's problem innit.
-
• #24375
I don't remember reading that.
I’ve also splashed out on a pair of new shocks , but for my c90 - a bit lower spec than yours. Also only £38.
Also been looking at shocks for my Harley, thinking Hagons, probably still cheaper than yours at £450 ish
