Side question, have you had any spider incidents in the clubhouse fort yet?
-
• #12679
You leave it on all the time??
-
• #12680
Yes, I have a 4yo to dress in the morning, I don't want to also have to dress a bike.
-
• #12681
Lol understandable (mine is 3yo) but it has not gotten hard cold enough yet to commit to it every day

• #12682

Had one moment, luckily before we had fully set off where one crawled across her lap. Much screaming and trying to climb out (luckily too panicked to unclip the lap belt). Now paranoidly checking every time. Found one on a sweep yesterday that put the shits up even me, so will just have to keep checking.

At Mass, all the roadmen on ebikes were asking me if I'd regreased it. Said I should be doing it once a year. One of them is particularly handy with taking them apart.
A quick googling seems to back this up. Has anyone here done a regreasing?

Selling this. Will do a discount if you buy direct, to avoid eBay fees.

Just saw the picture of the Larry vs Harry Bullitt Vigorelli. Underwhelming to say the least.

A high cultural impact collision
Jeez I don’t realise people actually said stuff like this outside of Succession

Theres something else getting launched soon, thought the big hype was for that, not just a new colourway.
In the UK basically no one buys acoustic Bullitts, maybe like 5 a year, literally 5.
-
• #12689
Ah ok! I thought that they had done such big hype for a colourway alone. Not clear marketing strategy on their instgram.

Still seem to be holding onto their value second hand. Everyone's been calling for bigger tyre clearance for a while, not sure why they haven't made that move.
If anyone's interested in swapping your manual Bullitt for my motorised (Bafang BBSHD) Omnium do let me know.

• #12691
What’s the details on your Bullit please?
-
• #12692
I'll have had my Bafang coming up on a year soon.
I'm still completely clueless about servicing it. Going to have to bring it to a shop.
Any recommendations?
General advice I'm going with is wait till they're noisy, then open them up. I suspect there's bad QC on a few of them that end up without enough grease from the factory that need immediate attention, otherwise you're good for years. It probably makes a significant difference if you're riding around on the throttle with your foot scrubbing the ground too.
Like @M_A_X mine has been going for about 4 years now with no attention.

Sorry, should have clarified. Mine's the Omnium.

@umop3pisdn did your friend take a look at that bike Friday longtail in the end?
-
• #12695
I should probably take mine apart and grease it or something.
Still need new box making. -

They bought a second hand Micyle 🤦♂️

New decathlon electric cargo bike coming soon.

Thought that looked great until I saw what looks like cable steering. Not really necessary and in a very exposed place.
