Is anyone riding with a pepper spray or so? I had with me only during long travelling across Europe and mainly for rabid dogs…

Technically a firearm in eyes of the UK law and can potentially carry a heavy sentence if you’re caught with it

What about a machete? Or is that only legal if you are under 16?

Machetes are fine, no one ever got hurt by a machete

Usual commute but I finally remembered to report a traffic light that only goes green for cars.
Got a phone call two hours later it will be upgraded this week.
Now maybe that was already planned but result!

Really sorry you had to experience that, hope you can get back on your bike soon.
I’ve had a few scary experiences documented here and it took a little while to remember how great riding a bike is.
I’ve cycled through burgess park late and night quite a few times and have always thought the complete lack of lights is pretty sketchy. Even the old canal path feels a bit hemmed in at times. Stay safe out there. -

Absolutely report this to the police and also kick up a fuss with the safer neighborhood team and your local councillor/MP etc. It's not fucking on at all, but sadly invisible and basically didn't happen unless you do

Liz and I rode to the hospital for an ultrasound of my bits today. I’m good just a check up from an op a while ago. We also did a bit of shopping. 22 miles in the sun.
Remember to check your bits people.

Bro, I've lived that life. A rear fender/ rain jacket or poncho and bread bags over socks go a long way. Its a lesson learned...
