  • When turning on like a fine turntable, very delicate, filigree, from a haptic point of view; but then – it is so loud, very loud. I would never recommend a dynamo like this in favor of a hub dynamo. Maybe for super lightweight builds. I made a video today, first time using the dynamo, the last part is without dynamo for comparison:

  • I've used Velogical dynamos a lot and it's never made that high-pitched 'whine'. An audible whirring but never something that 'sharp'. Can I suggest you fiddle with how hard it's running against the rim? I will admit they are a total pain the fit but do work well (though not quite as well as a hub!) once running nicely.

  • Definitely will do so, like that only the rim is as softly as possible kissed from the dynamo.

I edited the video title & update or change the video with the final ,sound’ (so far only 6 people clicked on the video and no company name added not to discredit someone because of my wrong installation).
