I just realised you are based in Vienna! So will I be able to spot this beauty on the streets at some point?

Congratulations on the spawn!

With some luck, yes – which bike to I have to look for to spot Oddo in RL?

Thanks =)

That is really the slowest build with lots of user errors.
I changed the stem to a 1" threaded stem with a 25.4 mm bar clamp (Nitto FW33) since I really did not like that weird spacer stack and without ahead cap/function I never got the spacers and the cable hanger installed so that they don't move (only the stem made pressure from the top). After mounting the new stem, I did not like for whatever reason the handlebar anymore, maybe because of the really 'thin' stem look. Of course the cable hanger I had did not fit to the 1" threaded stem anymore. So I got a Paul Funky Monkey and thought like I need a 1" version – and that is wrong, I need a 7/8" version – stupid me. I should measure everything. Lucky me I saw a used one for sale. Also I try another handlebar now, that fits maybe better to the stem. But ... it could be that then the 60 mm threaded stem is too short, but I will see.
All these actions take approx. one week for each part to change.
Mechanics laugh at me for sure! I hate this project.

I've overcome my hate for this project and move on with another handlebar, an artisanal very wide bar ('Mothbar') – but it is just gorgeous, haha what a massive bar this is! Of course now the stem 60 mm stem does not fit anymore, I'll try with a 90 or 100mm. It would be better than this ultra-short reach it would be on the Panasonic, on the Surly here I also have a 60mm stem.
Already I am planning to sometimes get new frame, were I could fit all those parts too. Mainly I want to build a bike around this handlebar, the 1" threaded stem, the Paul cantis and the dynamo.

Some things I could install on the bike – the handlebar, saddle, mudguards, frontrack. I will swap the stem to a longer one, the current with 60mm is too short for this absolutely wide handlebar.
The mudguards are more or less OK now, the front is also fixed with the rack, that would not be needed. The small Nitto front rack is mounted with these long black struts (black and silver everywhere), since the dynamo needs some place. Overkill for this small rack, which could carry now a lot I guess. The rack mounted on a Pelago bracket, since it fit better.
Saddle was a great second hand deal & the OG seatpost has some nice marks from the sun.

That mudguard fitting is delicious.

Thanks!
Still missing part is now I think the front light only when I do not forget anything. Maybe I get a really cheap one (the cheap Herrmans I have on the cargo Surly is totally fine), or some used fancy like a SON would be great.

I've had all sorts, from fancy to none, and frankly, the B&M Cyo has been nothing but excellent on the commuter for a few years. Can't fault it to be honest.

This is mega nice - which guards are they? The fit is exquisite! Absolutely love it.

Berthoud Cycles with 60mm width – mounting is OK (when having a ton of screws and other small hardware) and a nice fenderline can be more or less easy achieved. The front fender is a little bit higher than the back fender, but I’ll keep it for now like so until I find a smaller l-bracket for the seatstay bridge.

I finished this weekend most of the things on the bike, and today the first commute to work. What an awesome ride this was =) I think this is now the basis for a next project around the handlebar, the brakes, the saddle and some other key parts.
Going to make some pictures this week, here's the first one:

Excellent bike
Due to lot's of things at home like a new baby (lovely, now we have one of those sleepy babies), DIY actions in the garden, much work in the office (which is so unsatisfying because of head count reduction & terminations) slow progress here.
I had some time yesterday to check how the dynamo needs to be mounted (with one of these expensive Paul screws). They delivered the cantilever mount for the right side, even though the left side seems to be the standard side. I checked the order and did not mention a special side – hopefully it's OK no matter on which side it is mounted. Spinning the wheel is somewhat satisfying with the dynamo in contact with the rim, but it is as mentioned by some noisy, not loud, but it makes a sound.
Next will be the Nitto M18 rack which I got from @SoYaap! shipped to my door last week. I am going to mount it with long stuts to the fork eyelets – maybe a stupid idea to mount such a small rack like that, but on the canti sockets there's no place now due to the dynamo, and I think it looks better on the eyelets of the fork than with clips on the fork itself. Of course I have the wrong strut size diameter here (8 mm), so I ordered 7 mm Nitto struts.
The spacer stack with the 1" to 1 1/8" adapter and the Nitto stem is a no-go: it just looks ugly, with the small headset and small tubes. So I'll mount a 1" threaded stem and if somebody needs a Nitto UI-75 stem in 60 mm length > for sale shipped £ 37 to UK?
