Got my cassette from Ribble. It looks brand new but came without a box, just bubble-wrapped. Quite a cool plastic spindle holding all of the sprockets together though.

I’ve build a bike around a brake before. A bar is more practical starting place I guess.

A question for the floor: What else is worth getting from wiggle before they (possibly) go bust? Credit card protected so not too stressed. Any discipline except cold water swimming.

I think the nukeproof BBs and headsets look like very very good value at their current heavily discounted prices, they come with stainless bearings as standard and are all replaceable in the future anyway.
