  • Can anyone recommend a set of Bluetooth speakers for the kitchen. They need enough volume for teenage parties so maybe 40w, mains powered, £150?

  • I have a little Google home speaker and that thing goes loud. It's not Bluetooth but connects on your WiFi and you control it through Spotify. Really impressive sound from such a little thing and voice control means it's easy for anyone to play what they want

  • A lot of people I know are happy with these JBL pills -https://amzn.eu/d/7RUAITw

Also those Marshalls are great - https://amzn.eu/d/6466ll2

  • Would definitely recommend wi-fi rather than bluetooth. I use a couple of Libratone speakers that do bluetooth or wifi and they're battery powered so they work in the garden in the summer.

Otherwise the JBL Flip get a lot of praise.

  • I don't have them but these Edifier ones are very popular and should outperform a portable Bluetooth speaker
