Coventry climax engine
Derived from a fire engine water pump motor but also with some pretty good race car pedigree too. The imp seems to have an interesting history.
ISH the imp engine was based on climax...never seen one over revved and would go to 7k easily....pity power peaked around 5.
The problem was people fixing the engine not having a clue.
