Also for those keen eyed folk you’ll notice inner tubes with TLR tyres… couldn’t be arsed to tape rims yet whilst setting up fit etc

I've BDHU my road fixed. The bars are pretty compact (75mm reach I think) and now the plastic corners on the outside of the SRAM hoods protrude more than before and can be painful on my palms.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is it better on longer reach bars? Should I just BUHD so I'm back to a more comfortable setup?
On that note - what's the budget longer reach (85 / 90mm) but compact drop 38/40cm bar of choice?

I'm back to a more comfortable setup
This should be the overall priority imo.

Did you prefer anything about it? For instance, did you have more comfort in the drops?

Better?

I'd say you could go a touch more but the trade off is reaching the levers from the drops

Still bdhu for me.

Drops feel good. It's genrally comfy, bar the plastic bits of the shifter jabbing my palms - which seems a shame.
I think I could do a bit more reach, and to me it makes sense to have a nice big platform created by a longer reach bar, and then just knock a bit off the stem if I'm too stretched out.
Was just wondering if other have found BDHU sub optimal on what seems now relatively ubiquitous 75mm reach bars.

Fucking hell

How does this happen and then go unnoticed/unfixed/unadjusted? Are these bikes just never ridden? Do the leave shop floors this way? Do the riders only ever use the drops? Gives me the sads.

Yes, that’s why I asked
What’s the thoughts on this? Levers up a smidge or fine as is? First time I’ve ever used SRAM so forgive me for my sins (ignore saddle height and spacers as I’ve yet to properly dial fit and chop steerer etc)
