Seiko SNE573? Something like that? Solar, runs literally indefinitely. Great strap, great size, great watch.

Solar G-shock plus strap adapter like this?

Although personally if I wanted a tough watch for holidays etc I'd get this (not digital obviously)

They are such good watches, still fancy a grey one.

Haven't got a SNE573, but loving my solar Seiko (140th), posted it earlier up already

I really like it somehow

It is lovely, but I’m not sure if it’s too big.

Nailed it

It is. Too big, that is.
The Ultra-Chron is nice though.

Very few chronograph movements that cheap I guess. The other hand wound watch on their site looks nice (love the hands) and has a Sellita movement.

It’s 43 mm , would be better at 40 or 41mm like the previous one.

Not thought of that, that’s not bad at all.
Was thinking of the digital screen rather than analog

Casio dw290? (And swap out strap if overly bothered)

I like how the ultra-chron looks but way to big for me. Looks like it hasn't been a good seller as wos group have it a third off already

I have rarely been raised to such extremes of apathy :-(
Sorry, but I can't see what it offers ? -

A weird mix of large modern case, small vintage face and retro fluting?
Personally I think it's hideous.

Anyone after a 5600? I've got one of these that I'm looking to move on, brand new and unworn:

£90 anyone?

The weight of the huge steel case helps build muscle in your left arm as you go about your day.

Yes could be interested in this, send me a pm.

I suppose you can’t please everyone

I woudn't post a fake opinion about a watch (or anything); but you asked. To me it looks like a Smiths face, in an Art Deco case - OK if you are the Great Gatsby ;-)
By contrast, I think this has about the same case, but it's got some "life" to it.

Normally like Longines heritage pieces but that just reeks Aliexpress/Homage for some reason.
No I'm with you. Didn't like in the flesh at all. No shade to Chinese manufacturing as always, because its good, but claiming Swiss Made when its 99% made in China really rubs me up the wrong way as well, because its just a lie.
